Welcome New PAC Member!

That’s you! Your child is a student at Lord Roberts Elementary School, and that means you are a member of the Parent Advisory Council. Welcome!

The Lord Roberts Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a not-for-profit that:
  • Contributes to the best possible educational experience for students by promoting the involvement of parents and other community members
  • Advises school principal and staff about parent views on school programs, policies and activities
  • Promotes cooperation between the home and the school for the education of our children
  • Assist parents/students in accessing the educational system and advocates on their behalf
  • Organizes fun and educational events
  • Runs ongoing fundraising programs to support additional resources for the school

PAC Priorities 2020/21

  1. Support Admin in making the school website a valuable, go to, tool for families
    • First goal is completing and uploading FAQs for parents.
  2. Maintain and Build School Community
    1. Division reps and division groups are our starting point.
  3. Fundraise to support/purchase key school needs that benefit students:
    1. Canopies so that classes can work outdoors when it is raining
    2. Support/complete Technology Packages for Classrooms
    3. PAC will launch a direct appeal fundraising campaign to support these initiatives. Timeline TBD.
Research shows that children perform better at school when their parents are involved. This year, spending as little as 5 hours a year volunteering for the school goes a long way, and keeps you connected to your amazing school community!

There are many options to get involved with the school:
  • attending monthly general meetings
  • supporting fundraising projects
  • creating or joining a committee
  • becoming a division rep
  • attending a PAC exec meeting or signing up to be on PAC Executive!
Join us at our next PAC zoom meeting or reach out to a Division Rep to learn more about your new school, and how you can help to make Lord Roberts Elementary an even more awesome place to learn!
PAC General Meeting (Zoom)
