Welcome to the PAC website!

Tuesday, June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day!

We encourage the Roberts community to wear orange T-shirts on June 21.

Get your special "We Matter At Roberts" shirt at our pop-up sales after school on June 15 and 17, or online - just click on the poster to place your order.

Created in consultation with Chad Carpenter, our school’s Indigenous Education Worker, this design represents our strongly-held values of inclusion, respect, truth, and reconciliation. The circle of handprints, collected anonymously from our Indigenous students at the school, celebrates the past, present, and future community at Roberts.

Click on the poster to purchase your T-shirt!
All proceeds go to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.

Direct Appeal 2021

Picture
The Direct Appeal is the major annual PAC fundraiser for Lord Roberts Elementary. Last year, the appeal funded our new water bottle filling station, new bean bag chairs in the library, a class set of whiteboards, calculators and much more. Fundraising goals are based on parent priorities from the annual Parent Survey, and consultation with teachers, principals and staff.

This year
the parent community has indicated a strong preference for the PAC to fundraise for future improvements to our children’s outside learning environment.

School Street Volunteers Needed

Picture
As we are heading into the most dangerous part of the year for cyclists and pedestrians, it is more important than ever that the streets are safe for our children who are on foot or getting comfortable cycling in the city.

If you can help, sign up for available times here: volunteersignup.org/F774Q or send us an email to robertsactivetransportation@gmail.com, and we can set up a shift just for you.

Thank you for helping keep children safe!
